An organized desk in French Lique...

I recently participated in a linkie: Show Me Your Desk, posted by one of my favorite bloggers, Organising Queen, Marcia Francios. As it turned out, I probably had the most cluttered, disorganized desk posted that day. I have since undertaken the task of decluttering and organizing my home office, beginning with, step 1, the desk. Here are the pictures, proof that I'm making progress! Thank you for the inspiration Organising Queen. I am forever indebted!

This photograph makes my office look positively serene!

No more clutter!

and no more disorganization!

Now all I have to do is finish the other side of the office, and decorate. Steps 2 and 3... stay tuned... lots of decluttering, organizing and decorating going on here in French Lique!

Man you weren't kiddi'n you even posted about it today!! Actually, I don't think it's bad. I think men designed all this office stuff and they made it absolutely impossible to decorate around. Thank heaven for flat screen monitors (don't have one) and little tiny computer towers (don't have one of those either). Printers... where the heck are ya supposed to store those monsters??

Had to crack up... love the Rio Linda reference on your header:) I'm a Rush lady as well.

Good luck with the office fixer upper! Let me know when it's finished so I can admire it! I think mines a ways away. Hubbys working and in school full time- we have 6 kids soooooo.... I'm plumb tuckered out by the time they're all in bed and I can start a project!

Good to meet you!

I'm not sure I've ever seen an office look so... so... "zen" - so peaceful and inviting. I can picture grabbing a cup o'tea and plopping down to produce incredibly creative blog posts at that desk! LOL Nice job!
