Both the Curious Boys and Barn Chic Antiques have blogged this week about all the body parts for sale in Warrenton/Round Top this spring...

could we say... tub-loads of them...

Candy couldn't resist doing some "pickin' "...

$5 per leg... $5 per torso... $10 for 2-legs and a torso... such bargains!!

she piled them up... 1-2-3...

Gosh Candy... I can't imagine!

some junkers really get into their pickin' don't they!

some of the parts were just plain old creepy...

some awe-inspiring...

some moving... full of emotion of their own...

and some... well... some were just plain old Curious... "wink-wink"...

Vintage Fabrics and oh the things you can do!

Taking Cindy's lead... I thought I'd post some of the beautiful fabrics that Candy and I found in Warrenton/Zapp Hall/Round Top. There were mountains and mountains of vintage fabrics... and beautiful items dressed with the fabrics. I think that's enough talking... now I'll just let you browse the photos...

Show and Tell Friday with Cindy of My Romantic Home...

Girlfriend Weekend in Roundtop...

Candy and I are off to Round Top Texas tomorrow morning to spend 3-glorious days at "Oma's Haus" and shop-shop-shop! I thought I'd share a few photos from my Pinterest (check it out on my side bar if you haven't already), stuff that I'm going to be looking for while I'm there... then next week when I get back... I'll post what I found!

I'm always looking for vintage frames... the gaudier.. the better!

I would love to have a chicken wire cloche... or two... or three!

and then to wrap things up nice and neat... we'll be going to Cat Daddy's 60th birthday bash on Saturday night... hosted by the fabulous Trash Talkin' Deb herself (seated here wearing white pants and the black print top) ... and then on Sunday night... Theresa Cano's Blog Party (there's Theresa standing behind Deb wearing blue)... and the blog party... well that's on my bucket list.

What a great time we'll have... wish you could be there too!

Planning and Thrifting...

Today, I'm off to San Marcos for a planning lunch with Candy (Rock Candy) and friend Terry... we're planning a trip to Round Top/Marburger Farm/Zapp Hall in the fall... We've rented a little cottage for a few nights.. and we're finally going to go together and be at Theresa's Blog Party on Sunday night... and we've even got an invite to Cat Daddy's birthday bash... 

so like the good little Girl Scouts (former) that we are... we're planning... what to bring with us... when to arrive... where we'll start and where we'll end up... 

What a fun it will be!!

and of course no visit with Candy can happen without a little Thrifty shopping!  Terry has found a new place... Terry can ferret out the most wonderful Thrift Shops...

but... first... we'll be meeting up at the best little Thrift shop in San Marcos... Twice Blessed... where I never fail to find something wonderful...
