A colorful feast for the eyes... NOLA Mardi Gras...

I was searching the internet for some photos of New Orleans' Mardi Gras for my WW post this coming week. I found this photo (and many others), at the site linked below... some of the best photos of Mardi Gras I've ever viewed! If you'd like to see some really beautiful photography and the fabulous colors of New Orleans Mardi Gras, link below and visit...
I haven't been to Mardi Gras in a long time... but I'm thinking of changing that... down here in French Lique...

Beautiful pictures. LOL...I was born and lived in NOLA untill I was 6 and I have never been to a Mardi Gras. Momma would always come back to Brookhaven for a week during Mardi Gras, she said that it scared her, with so many folks going wild down there. And this was the early mid-40's can you imagine what she'd think about it today.

Hello Dixie, thanks so much for your sweet comment at the Back Porch.

I came back by to tell you, thanks for the lovely comment about the scenic photos. Those were taken here at our Lake of the Ozarks place and Bennett Spring State Park. These are located in the Missouri Ozarks.

Arkansas is indeed a beautiful state. We've stayed at Petit Jean State Park and we've toured Arkansas many times through the years and love it.
Our heart is in the Missouri Ozarks, where I was born and raised.

Hi Dixie,

I've been to Mardi Gras but it was years ago. We went to the family friendly parades. I got lots of necklaces and goodies. It was fun. And we did the King cake thing everyday.

Thanks for visiting my blog and becoming a follower. I have a gift for you but I need your email to send it to you. It's in pdf. (I will keep your email private.)
My email is located on my profile page.

Hugs & Blessings,

~Katherine~
