The curtain dress... part 2...

For your viewing pleasure...
You knew I'd find it didn't you... First... Miss Scarlett...

and now... Miss Burnett... (don't worry, the dress part occurs during the first four minutes... you won't have to watch all 9 minutes!) and how about that Miss Dinah Shore... I'd forgotten she was "Miss Mellie" in Carol Burnett's version...

Isn't Scarlett that Southern Gal we all have inside of us? I know that she's in me... Blissfully daydreaming about times gone by... down here in French Lique...

Mornin' Dixie...

Just wanted to stop by and say thank you for your visit and for your sweet comments on my grandbabies...I got a kick out of them...hehe!!!

Girl, I just love "Gone With the Wind"! Scarlet was certainly creative and talented wasn't she? Making that beautiful dress out of Tara's drapes...kind of reminds me of all of the grand ladies here in blogland that create and make so many beautiful things for their homes!!! A true mark of a fine lady...to be able to take something and create a masterpiece with it!!!

Ohhh my...and Carol Burnette's version of Scarlet...what a hoot!!! Hehe!!! Thanks for sharing...it sure put a smile on my face today!!!

Have a great weekend, my friend!

Dixie,

Thank you so much for finding these clips so that I could see the original "drapery scene"....

I also watched both clips all the way through..... Oh, I do miss that bunch together Carol, Harvey, Tim and Vicki .... so many fond memories of laughter!! and it was nice to see Miss Dinah...a sweet woman in her.

You're the best Miss Dixie!!

hugs, Cheryl

Ok I came back after I read your comment. Carol Burnett is just too funny. I could think of about 100 shows on TV they could dump and run reruns of her.
