Blue Monday... the Blue Skies of Texas...

Please visit Miss Smiling Sally's Blog for more Blue Monday... this Monday and every Monday! Thanks Miss Sally... you're the hostess with the mostess!

I'm Back!!!
Driving into Dallas last Thursday, I decided to take some photos of the Dallas skyline and a couple of other things truly Texas... After viewing my photos this morning, I realized they'd be a great Blue Monday post... so here ya go... Blue Monday... and the Blue Skies of Texas...

View of Northwest Dallas skyline from I-35N...

A Southwest Airlines plane landing at Love Field in North Central Dallas... The Reunion Arena Tower... a Dallas icon... the top is a revolving restaurant... Reunion Arena is the former home of the Dallas Mavericks...

A Texas flag (a little out of focus... we were driving 70 mph!)... One of my favorite little churches in South Dallas - Oakcliff area... Hope you enjoyed the Dallas skyline and the beautiful blue skies of Texas.

Just trying to catch up now that I'm back home in French Lique!

Those pictures make me feel at home, oh yeah I am home and I see those sights often LOL, hasn't the sky been really pretty lately, so blue and pretty white fluffy clouds, well not today, just dreary. Glad you made it back safely, love the rodeo pictures.

Ah, you bring back memories. I've driven on that road; we lived in Ft. Worth for a year and loved it. Texans are so friendly. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.

Three cheers for Texas! I went to school in Abilene and loved it. I like Rush and listen to him most days. I too am a Sagittarius. Thank you so much for featuring my blog for the week. I appreciate it very much. Have a great week!

WELCOME HOME DIXIE
THE PICTURES WERE VERY PRETTY...I FLEW OUT OF THAT AIRPORT TO GO TO PHOENIX TWO YEARS AGO...AFTER MY SON GOT MARRIED IN A GARDEN WEDDING OF HIS BRIDES PARENTS HOME IN ARLINGTON...OH THE TRAFFIC...MADE BROKEN ARROW TRAFFIC LOOK LIKE KINDERGARTEN DRIVERS AND THAT BA EXPRESSWAY IS BAD....
LOVED SEEING THE SKYLINE...I LIKE TO HAVE PICTURES OF ALL CITY'S SKYLINES....OUR LITTLE CITY WOULD HAVE THE GRAIN ELEVATORS WITH A BUNCH OF CROWS FLYING AROUND...

Great Blues...I was born in Dallas but only lived there until about 7 yrs. old...my dad lived there for many years and I spent part of the summer there with him for 10 years.
I also went there after I graduated from high school and my cousin and I got an apartment together. SUCH FUN !
We used to go out to Fair Park all the time...to meet boys, of course.
My dad lived in Oak Cliff for awhile..lots of good memories here.
hugs, bj
