Poodle Parlor

The girls went to the Poodle Parlor today for their monthly grooming... They always look soooo pretty when they come home... and Roxy even looks pretty for another couple of weeks or so. Precious, however, lasts a day or two at most. She just cannot keep herself out of the garden mud, digging in the back yard, rolling in the tall grass, and other farm poodle like activities. When they got home today, I decided I'd try to get a picture of them, together no less, while they were BOTH pretty and clean.

Roxy laying down, Precious sitting up... Our groomer, Lisa, always finishes the girls off with little bandannas. They usually start trying to take the bandannas off before they get in the door!
Getting the two of them to sit still in one spot at the same time is near impossible,(which is why I nearly cut Precious' head off in the picture!) but I managed to get a picture or two. I thought I'd share them with you, so you could enjoy clean poodles with me... even though you're not here in French Lique.

PS... I almost forgot! Yesterday Ricky and I went to see "Marley & Me"... it was a sweet dog movie, and if you love animals, I highly recommend it. The funny thing was, we realized we have our own Marley... except she only weighs 7-pounds and her name is Precious... Thank goodness she only weighs 7-pounds. We are blessed!

Precious and Roxy are adorable. I know what you mean about getting 2 dogs to set sit at the same time. We have the cockeer Miss Scooter and Murphy the collie. They are our children..they definetly own us we don't own them.. I'm hoping I won't need Precious to help with the mice population..lol.. I'm hoping they've moved on for a bit.. :-) hugs ~lynne~
