Blue Monday... Why Not!

OOPS! almost forgot my little Blue Monday Bluebird! Visit Smilin' Sally for more Blue Monday pics !
I don't have a lot of Blue, but what I have, I love... for example... I collect Lladro (thanks to eBay and a Lladro Outlet Store in San Marcos). They use the softest color of Blue on many of their pieces... My favorites... the Belgium Nun series... here are the two that I own... and of course, there's always room for more!

They remind me of Sally Field and "The Flying Nun" from 1960's TV. Hi Sister Bertrille! It's amazing you haven't changed a bit!

A Blue Monday, that's not so Blue, down here in sunny French Lique...

PS.. I hope you'll come back and join me for Wordless Wednesday. It begins this Wednesday, January 7, 2009. Click the link on my sidebar for instructions! See you Wordless Wednesday!(and yes... this is a shameless self-promotion for you to comeback and visit my blog...)

I don't usually care for Lladro, but I think those nuns are adorable. And I love all the outlets in San Marcos - we always stop in every time we're in Texas to visit family. My shot of bluebonnets in today's post was taken right around San Marcos, but many years ago. Have a great Blue Monday!

Ooo, I love LLadro too but with my youngest kids being two rather rambunctious boys, I've had to pass and tell myself~~"one day".
They truly are wonderful pieces.
Have a fantastic day and thanks for sharing!

Hi Dixie, I love Blue Monday! Just between you and me, your first comment was the runner up on Worth a Thousand Words Contest. And I did get your second comment, a reference from "So God Are You Listening." "Did the wise men have light bulbs over their heads?" Hilarious.

The nun figurines are lovely.
I also admire and enjoy Lladro. Wish I could afford more than the few pieces I have now.
