Love UGGS!!!! Yours are so pretty, I have not seen any white ones until now.(( We have gone from wearing flip flops year round to being able to wear winter attire!!!)) Thanks for hosting this wonderful WW,can't wait until next week!!!!
I've got mine set to publish in the wee hours. It's a pic of some of my favorite things, and my summertime decorations on our front porch. Can't wait to see other people's faves! Blessings, Becky G.
Well, Dixie...you are going to think I am out of touch, but I have never heard of UGGS! And you are going to laugh when I say that I hate shoes in general. I don't understand what the big deal is. I don't know why any woman says "I love me some Jimmy Choos" because I'd rather just be barefooted!! lol...Debbie
Deb... think of the most comfortable thing you've ever put on your feet... then x2... that's UGGS! In the winter time, I come home, put them on and then hate taking them off when I go to bed. I just wish they weren't so casual, I'd wear them to work too!
they are boots, but honestly, I wear them like they are slippers... they are THAT comfortable!... and I wear them with Jeans everywhere except in the garden... They're pretty dirty now... that pic was when I first bought them!
as I said on your blog... if they sold them at Walmart... I think I'd have a pair in every color and style! (well, at least I could probably afford them in every color and style!)
Dixie, the Frankoma teapot was my late paternal grandmother's and one of my treasures! I think I got my love of utilitarian (but beautiful) things from her. She could take a bunch of weeds and put them in a pitcher and make it look like a priceless arrangement. Of course that gift came from her sweet mother who loved pretty things although she had very few. Thanks for visiting! Becky G.
Just found you through the MUSE, Beautiful blog here too... LOVE your UGGS...sure could use them here in Illinois today! COZ..Baby it is cold outside! Added myself to your followers list! Our scanner is not hooked up...and far be it for this computer wizard here (NOT) to try to hook it up.....so I hope to participate next week! Thanks for sharing your lovely blog!
My daughter (9 years old) has some boots that look like Uggs and she wanted to know if when people said they were Uggs if that meant they were ugly.....HAHAHAHA. I got so cracked up I could hardly tell her that was a brand not a short word for ugly.
With the weather we're supposed to have in Texas tomorrow, we all need some comfy, warm Uggs! I am participating for the first time in your Wordless Wednesday so I hope I did it right!! Great blog!
Chris... you're a sweetie... thanks for featuring my WW Uggs post on your blog today! How cool is that!
Darlene... you owe an apology to your 9-year old... Uggs, originally from Austraila, got their name from being called "the ugly boots", which was eventually shortened to "Uggs"... your daughter gets the doorprize! ;)
Sylvia - mine don't look that good anymore either... can't wear 'em every day without a little grime!
thanks to each of you for stopping by, and to those that participated this week!
