Wimberley Lions Market Days...

Ricky and I ventured to Wimberley, Texas yesterday... The Lions Club of Wimberley sponsers and runs Market Days, which is the oldest outdoor market in Texas.

Held only one weekend a month, Market Days take place the first Saturday of each month, March - September and the first Saturday and Sunday of the month in October, November and December. There is no Market Days in January and February. The part about no Market Days in January and February is what took us to Wimberley this weekend. Ricky loves a product that he has only found in Wimberley. It's called "Amaretto Pecan Honey Butter"... and it's made of exactly what it says... Ricky has been out for a couple months now, and knowing that he couldn't stock up again until next March if we didn't go this weekend... well... nuff said... so he got his "Amaretto Pecan Honey Butter"... 4 jars of it in fact... "4 jars for $35..."... a bargain!

and since I was there... well I had to pick up a few little things for myself too...

some great bakelite buttons for pillow decorating... $2

a pretty little artisan charm necklace with my favorite Christmastime picture of Paris... $20

a beautiful artisan silver fork & spoon wind chime... $18

and my favorite thing...
a wonderful little dogwood dish by Frankoma to add to our collection... $2

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we had a great time wandering around and looking at the booths... Market Days...one of mine, and Ricky's, favorite things to do down here in French Lique...

Ohhh!...I love the necklace with the Paris charm! Is that the same pic that's on my sidebar? The fork and spoon windchime is gorgeous! I'd love a taste of the amaretto pecan honey butter...with ingredients like that, it's got to be good!!...Debbie

Amanda & Debbie... thanks for stopping and leaving a note. I thought it was a great day at "the market"... so many special finds!

Debbie - I posted a larger Paris picture on my sidebar... I think it's the same view... but different pic as on your blog.

Merry Christmas!
