We got a little behind on our garden picking this weekend...due to other obligations... along with about 3 inches of rain that occurred between Friday evening and Sunday morning... Normally, Ricky picks the garden every evening.. but sometimes... life interferes with routine...
So Sunday evening... this was the daily harvest... yellow crooked-neck squash (my favorite!) and lots of round (globe) zucchini... yummy! I adore the beautiful colors of fresh vegetables from the garden... and how 'bout that blue Texas sky?
We gathered, sorted... separated and bagged...
and along with ourselves... our friends, family and coworkers will reap the bounty of our harvest...I wish you were here... I'd be glad to share... Drop by and bring a grocery bag...
