Happy Wordless Wednesday, Dixie!! Your pictures are perfect representations of "father"---from the fantasy father in Father Knows Best to our Heavenly Father.

I love that second photo. The black and white photo. It is so classic looking. All of your choices are lovely, though.

Happy WW from Sara @ the Mostly Wordless Wednesday H.Q.!

Perfect finds!

I got a bit ahead of myself and posted a blogger's choice (in error) but looking back at it, I realize that it is a generational Papa/Father/Daddy moment.

My neighbor's grandaughter found herself at the top of our crabapple tree in a pretty little dress, last weekend. Papa came to her rescue. Our Heavenly Father kept her safe from falls and her earthly Papa put on his "super suit" and climbed up to get her.

Dixie, your pictures are wonderful and represent this theme perfectly. Thanks for sharing and being a sweet hostess. I love this event best because I don't have to explain everything. Plus, some things just don't need words. Happy Wordless Wednesday!
