Thank you so much for hosting this event!!! This is my first time to participate and I am really looking forward to it!!! Peonies are my favorite flower...always have been and always will be!!! I love them!!!

I have been following your blog for some time and I really enjoy it!!! I am a Texan too. We live in north Texas and have a place in the hill country. As soon as life allows that is where we will live.

I hope you are having a wonderful week...thanks again!!!

Peonies - I wish they grew here. When I went to Ohio as a newlywed I was amazed at the size of the "roses" which were peonies I soon learned! Have a wonderful Wednesday. Shhhh. Nancy

Beautiful shots, Dixie. Is that one of your magnolias? I swear, I can almost smell it. Will your daughter be using any (or all) of these in her wedding? Can't wait to see pictures! And thanks for hosting this, especially with all you have on your plate right now. Kathy

I so wanted to say something on my post about the coming events down in French Lique, but just know I am thinking of you guys.
I made this post before I knew about your daughter.

I love all of the flowers, Dixie. The peony is also my favorite. They remind me of Memorial Day, as they are what we would gather to take to the cemetary when I was a kid!

Happy WW and have fun this weekend! Dana

Peonies and dogwood are some of my favorites too. I love a good geranium too but didn't get to that when I picked mine, there are just so many great flowers and I am not a girly girl either!
Congrats on your daughters upcoming wedding! I love Wednesdays!
