Dixie, I'm so glad to see this post! I received the post from fiona and twig, and wanted to email you about one of the pictures, but I didn't know how to reach you, and didn't want to do it on the rental site. If you don't mind, would you tell me, please, how you hang your collection of hand mirrors on the wall ? I have a small collection and would like to do something like this. You have an awesome collection! Thank you !!
Of course I'd be happy to share! For my mirrors that had a basically flat, smooth back, I used the European style plate hangers that are called "Disc Adhesive Plate Hangers" ( you can buy various sizes on eBay). I used the largest size that would fit on the mirror back, so most were 4-inch. On the mirrors that were more curved on the back or had ridges on the backs, I used basic wire plate hangers. A couple of the hand mirrors were oddly shaped and neither hanger would work, so those I just tied a pretty ribbon on them and used a picture hanger hook on the wall to loop the mirror through. I love how the mirror wall turned out. Glad you enjoyed the photos! Blessings. Dixie
