I'll Be Louise...

Tomorrow Candy and I have a play date to go thrift shopping...
No matter where we go or what we do...
we always seem to have a good time...
Kinda like...

and now a peek at my most recent Thrifty Vintage buy...
Vintage Celery Green Sheer Dotted Swiss kitchen curtains... aren't they adorable?!
I've always loved dotted swiss curtains... they are sooooo cottage...
and wanting them in celery green...
I wasn't sure I'd ever find the ones I wanted but...
purchased on ebay.. still brand new and in the original JCPenny packaging, for $15...
Yes, I know that their original price was probably half that...
but considering how difficult these were to find in the exact color
dotted swiss that I wanted...
I think I scored!

More of the kitchen renovation in upcoming weeks.. as soon as I am able to get
a fire set under that dog-gone cabinet contractor !!

good Thrifty Shopping Everybody...
can't wait to go treasure hunting with Candy...
down here in French Lique!

I'm joining in with
jump over and see who else in Thrifty Shopping too!

I love dotted- Swiss and I've always loved Priscilla curtains too. I wish those would make a comeback. Lucy and Ricky had some great ones in their second apartment! Can't wait to see pics from your renovation.

So beautiful and such a deal. When I was growing up Dotted Swiss was a fabric of choice for almost everything. I remember a wonderful dress with large gathered skirt. I enjoyed it so.
Thanks for sharing.
I am a new follower. Please come by to visit me as well.

I love dotted Swiss. Reminds me of all the spring time dresses my mom used to make me. Can't wait to see your 'new' kitchen.

Dotted swiss, can't remember when I heard those words last - thanks so much for a trip back in time and lots of smiles. My mother adored dotted swiss. And Celery Green, so much fun. Enjoy!

Happy VTT!
