Ricky had the day off today, so we decided to take a little day trip out IH10 toward Houston... and I couldn't resist sharing a little of what we saw while driving through our beautiful state of Texas...
This was my favorite... old windmills and beautiful Texas blue skies...

Ricky's favorite... Redneck Camper... Why does this make me think of Cat Daddy?
I just love my husband's sense of humor... This one's for you Ricky! just gettin' out of the house for a while... down here in French Lique...
It is a nice windmill but I'm with Ricky on that camper...I'm seeing it with a little Magnolia Pearl pimp...so cool. You know I like things that are different and I'll have to say this is a new one for me.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Glad you enjoy the day with your man.
Hugs ;-)
And the best way to experience the gorgeous Texas sky - from inside an air conditioned car!! Glad to see you up and about!
ReplyDeleteWHAT?!? You mean that's NOT the Hilton?????
ReplyDeleteMan, spoil it for the rest of us!
Hehehehehehehehe
Maybe because you've seen Cat Daddy's idea of mowing! LOL
ReplyDeleteJust add a big ol' set of cow horns to the hood and and we'd be set to roll.
I love windmills...the simplicity blows me away...no pun intended. Glad you got to do a little road time!

I love windmills! When I was a kid I'd occupy myself in the car by counting how many I saw. (I lived in rural Texas so there were lots!)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE windmills...they bring back memories of taking naps at my grandparents farm and hearing the lazy groan of their windmill during my summer visits in Floresville.
ReplyDeleteI can not believe that I do not recall this windmill. Of course, it looks as if the RV has been at that spot for years and I do not remember it either. What are they near?
Wanted to stop by and say hello ... I do hope life is treating you well.
