These boots are made for walkin'... ropin'... ridin'...

I'm joining Deb, the Ladybug from Texas, for her Friday boot party... All Deb wants is for you to post a photo(s) of your favorite boots... so here's mine... well worn, broken-in cowgirl boots...

it's hard to live in Texas and not own a pair or two...

just like this great photo from Pioneer Woman...

and this will be my new pair of boots... I'm givin' them to myself for Christmas from Crow's Nest Trading Company... I love these boots!
So put on your boots gals... and join in with Deb's Boot Party.. just like me, down here in French Lique!

Hi Dixie, Great party post and I love your western boots. I used to have a pair like your first ones and they flat wore out. I need another pair. Great boots you are going to gift to yourself for Christmas!!
Have a great weekend,
Hugs, Celestina Marie

Gee Dixie, I was expecting knee high, spiked 4 inch heels from you! NOT! I knew I'd see some geat cowGIRL boots. I did think you might have some pink ones though. And that Christmas gift... a little on the wild side with the spots but still very practical out on the range.

Hope all is going well at the store.
Hugs,
Dawn

Oh I use to have a pair that was well worn and loved when I lived in Oregon. Now in the desert, there's not much need for them. I love yours, they look so comfy. Your new one look fabulous too. Hugs, Marty

Oh, my goodness, Dixie! I had the first boots on your blog and just absolutely WORE them OUT! Loved 'em! And, I see Celestina Marie also loved hers... a Texas girl favorite, obviously. Your "Christmas" boots are quite fetching, too. I am sure you will enjoy wearing those.

Love those boots. My Husband always wears a cowboy hat and boots. He was born and raised here in WV, but he considers himself a cowboy at heart. Don't they say that truckers are modern day cowboys. Thats my Hubby than.

Dixie, I have been following you for a long time... look in your followers at the chandelier picture on Le Shiloh Shabby Château. I have always thought you to be precious in your post and pictures... I just have a new blog now to comment on... I am so glad you found me because I adore your sentiments and post... you are a good read from start to finish... I am sorry I haven't been by lately. I saw the party call on your side bar and wanted to play but you know the ol sayin'...a day late and a dollar short. Hope she runs it again sometime.
Love that pair you got your eyes on, looks to be leopard print. Just like the pink & white thang, I'm almost ashamed to say this Texas chick has never owned a pair. But I think that is gonna change soon too! I'm on the hunt.
Is your next Sat. still lookin' like a no-go on Martket Days?
You too, enjoy this glorious weather.

I had to come back by and tell you those leopard boots should be in my closet.

Dixie, your post has made me Texas homesick. How I wish I had my old boots which were not deemed worthy to pack for our move from Texas to Georgia.

Dixie, It has been too long since I have been here...sorry. I have been wondering how your little shop is doing and how you are, I can see by the boots you are ok.

I wish I could be in Wimberly to see you and Candy's new booth.

We need a big Texas get together in the spring and I am thinking we could have it at our lakehouse, I think I am pretty centrally located for most of texas.

I actually didn't go today. Stay home which was good for a change. Getting some more things ready to take to the booth. Terry and I went to Ger. yesterday. Glory B's and a thrift store in Seguin.
Are you still in D or home?
Just sitting around wanted for some money to come rolling in. You know how that is.
Miss seeing ya. We may have to do lunch soon.

Wish I had some cute boots like yours!!! The only kind I own are a pair for snow and another that lace up for cold weather. BORING!!! I think my feet would really hurt, however, if I tried to wear those cowboy/girl boots! The pointy toes and the heels are not compatible with my poor old tootsies!

Hope all is well with you!! L, Dana

Hi Miss Dixie!!

How the heck have you been? I haven't been over to visit for long and was just thinkin' about you....

Love your boots. My daughter wears 'em here in Washington State. She love them too...I'd never be able to walk in them....

Hope all is well with you down there in Texas!

Huggies,
Spencer
