Is it really global warming... naw... it's just summertime in South Texas...
This is the time of year that we frequently replace our hot coffee with iced tea... for breakfast...

Morning Iced Tea.... it's a good thing down here in French Lique...

  4. Give me a glass darlin cuz it sure is hot here in Phoenix. Yesterday on our back porch it was 120 degrees in the shade. So hot, and more coming. Melts the ice as fast as you put it in. Thanks for sharing Dixie, it just looks wonderful. I'll be adding lemon too, when those lemons are ready on our tree. Country Hugs, Sherry

  9. Love sweet tea.

I have lived in Texas for 8 years now. I've never experience this ongoing heat like this. Ready for some kind of low pressure to sweep down up on us.

  10. It looks very tempting. I'm desperately trying to develop a taste for tea so I can give up the diet coke...

Hope you are having a good week☺

  11. LOL..Dixie here in Wesson, MS iced tea is a 24/7 12 months staple. You will not walk in my kitchen and find an empty tea pitcher.
But it sure is good during these hot summer days.It is only 82 degrees here today...praise God. It was 100 or more for over 31 days with no rain, we are having our June weather here in July. How strange, but I'm not complaining, love the slow drizzling rain and cool over cast sky.. Hope y'all get some of it soon.

  12. A glass of iced tea sure sounds like just the thing! I wonder how fried lemons taste...with this heat, I may be finding out. A little mint would be refreshing too!

  13. Our daughters live in Dallas and San Antonio and are just suffering...with electric bills through the roof! Keep the tea pitcher full and the ac on, as Mom says "Keep your head in the shade!"
