Thank you so much for sharing this image with all of us .... and thank you for the salmon recipe. We throw salmon on our grill at least once or twice a month. It is soooooooooooo good. Have a blessed Easter and may Peace be with you. (I am over 59 but intend to do the obligatory fast today.)
No words need for this one, he died for my sins. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life".
Jesus is AWESOME, Dixie, and I love Him SO much, too! Hoping you have a blessed Easter. Good Friday just took on a whole new meaning for me this year as my best friend lost her mother on this one. That same friend lost her brother thirty years ago on Good Friday, and I can't think of a better day to go home to be with the Lord! And Dixie, they were both good Catholics, too! I'm not Catholic, but I did have a rosary that was a gift from a friend who's a nun, and I gave them to DiDi on Thursday. She died with them in her hand, and her face looked just like she had seen the Lord! So peaceful and sweet, like her life.
Sometimes I find it hard to believe that someone loves us so much he gave his life for us and that he continues to forgive us of our sins and that one day we will be with him in all his glory.
I love this picture and the one you have for today! What a glorious day Easter is!! I wanted to come by here to let you know I'm a fan of your blog and hope you'll come by and pick up your Fan Award! Or add me to your collection of fans if you already have it! :-) Happy Easter! Laura
