One of my favorite French blogs, Tongue in Cheek Antiques, had a little blog giveaway this past week. All you had to do was to tell her what you'd like to do with some old rusty vintage French baking tins she had purchased. She chose a few ideas... and well... guess who won some! Yep, me.
Now you all know I don't cook much... so that wasn't my idea. I'm going to make a wind chime for my front porch. Thank you so much Corey, for choosing my idea. I can hardly wait!
Corey has extras.. if you're willing to pay the post. Visit her lovely blog, see the beautiful tins and leave her a message.
Blessings to all.. hope that you have a wonderful week and see you on Wordless Wednesday, down here in French Lique...

I just read your post over on Spiritual Sundays. It is great. I too am thankful for charity stores. About the only thing I have ever bought there is books. But we have donated "stuff" to them for many, many years. Thanks for posting. (I appreciate your S.S. posts so much I wish you would make it possible to comment there. The reason is, I know that many want to comment and encourage you as you do them.)
I also am thankful for TS and and Godwills, my Niece Runs a Ministry based Thrift Store in Brookhaven, where people donate clothing and other items, to her, she sales as much as she can to folks like me looking for bargins and gives items to folks in need. She uses the money raised in the store to help buy clothes (if she doesn't have the size needed) and food for people in the community that have a great need. She doesn't turn anyone away. So yes Thrift Stores and Good Wills are great to have around, the more we buy from them the more folks they can help.
Clif... thanks for the encouragement... but for now... So, God... will remain "comment free"... I must admit, that blogger friends like you do temp me to change my mind... perhaps someday... blessings. Dixie
