Lunching with Candy and Terry in San Marcos, Texas

When meeting Candy and Terry for lunch in San Marcos, Texas today... Candy had told me... "We'll be on the town square... wearing hats"...
Well look! Isn't that two lovely ladies wearing hats right across the street there! Yep... that's them. (click on the photo for a close up of Candy's hat... it was a hoot!)

What a pleasure it was to meet them both. Candy is just as enchanting as you might think if you read her blog... and Terry... the most delightful sidekick... I found two precious new friends today. Thank you girls... see you soon for Saturday Trade Days in Wimberley...
Blessings from Dixie... down here in French Lique...
and a little hint about "Looking for Lahoma"... Lahoma has been found and I'll be posting the story and hopefully a photo of dear Lahoma this weekend.

We had a great time meeting ya and thanks again for the treat. We'll be thinking of you while hunting. I should really stay home and organize too but what's a girl to do?
Grab a BIG purse and go!

Dixie, What a great time you all had at lunch...can't wait to come to Wimberly on the 4th of April.

If you know of anyone coming from my way, let me know and we can ride together.

Jewett, Texas....about 10 miles west of I 45 at the Centerville or Buffalo exits on Hwy 79.

Dixie isn't it great to finally met a blog friend. I did 2 years ago and we are still very close. I consider her one of my best friends that I call when I need someone to just talk too.
Am so excited about you finding Lohoma, can't wait to hear the details.

Candy's hat shows up fine when the picture is clicked. I must say that I'm green with envy. It was a great idea to meet and eat!
