Pink Saturday...

Welcome to Pink Saturday French Lique Style... If you'd like to see other Pink Saturday posts, visit Miss Beverly's Blog, "How Sweet the Sound" by clicking on the Pink Saturday here...

My first offering is this sweet little Pink collage art card I made in honor of my granddaughter, the Panda. The card's title is "Waiting for Her Prince"... I'll let the card do the rest of the talking... hope you enjoy...

A lovely glass of sparkling Pink (ok.. white) Zinfindel...
A big jar full of Pink buttons, and a Pink silk rose sprinkled with raindrops...
Dixie singing... "Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens... bright copper kettles..." all right - all right-already!
And this (of course being Dixie and living in French Lique... I couldn't let this one pass by), a Pink Advertisement from the 1930's... A friend of mine sent it to me via email this week... I don't think these were FDA approved... but then again... most weight loss products aren't... LOL... what were they thinkin'!
I have to work Saturday morning, so I'm posting my Pink Saturday a little early this week...
Just having a Blissful Pink Saturday down here in Texas-Corridor-Free French Lique!

  4. Happy Pink Saturday, Miss Dixie.

Aack! Even though it looks pink and pretty, I don't believe I would be going on that kind of diet.

Love your card for your little sweetheart. We are so lucky when we find just the right prince.

  6. Dixie ~ Thanks for visiting our blog! Love your pictures -especially the pink (white) zinfindel...could that be Berringers? I also love your music - my daughter Ashley (who lives in LA) was at the movie "Twilight" with Taylor Swift. She was with her mom - how cute. I'll visit again!

  26. DEAR SWEET DIXIE,
Thanks for visiting my little blog..it is so encouraging to have visitors and makes me feel so blessed. I love the card you made for your granddaughter and the jar of buttons with the rose was to sing a song for...lalalala..if you could hear me sing, you would be plugging your ears, but we are to make a joyful noise, it doesn't say we have to be on key.
I have had a time reading your other blog as well as this one....Praise God you and the others won the right to not have to sell your land. That was a "priceless" gift.
I would love to participate in wordless wednesday but those who know and love me, know that will be a difficult job for me....I'm a wordy girl. It will be good for me.
    hugs
    debbie
