Pink Saturday... Pink Peonies...

My favorite flower... Peony... my favorite color... Pink...
When I found the beautiful Pink Peonies in my local HEB Grocery Store... I thought I'd died and gone to Heaven...
When you live in South Texas... and Peonies is your favorite flower, it's a lot like not having the  Christmas spirit without snow on the ground... In South Texas... we don't get snow and we can't grow Peonies... But every once in a while... just like the snow... we get lucky and a few Peonies make it this far south.

Scratch & Sniff

So thank you, you wonderful Northern and North Western gardeners... for growing these wonderful, lucious, fragrant flowers... and for sending a few of them my way...
down here in French Lique!...
I'm joining the wonderful Miss Beverly for Pink Saturday... Please drop by and see who else is playing today...

  1. So beautiful. I love peonies, too, and like you, I live where it's too warm to grow them. You scored!

  5. Well, Dixie! I'm tickled to bits. So happy you're back... I hadn't popped over for such a long time....knowing you'd left the scene... :-) Welcome back sweet chickie!

LOVE your header too.....with the doors added. YUM. Love those doors. Such a perfect welcome.

Now, about those peonies. We do have them here, in the Pacific Northwest, but I've never had great success with them. So frustrating. Great plants, no flowers. Shoot! Yours are just delish.

    Huggies to you!
