Ancestry.Com and knee surgery....

One thing being laid up from major surgery affords... lots of time to work on projects... mine... working on my Family Tree at Ancestry.Com... I've been slowly working on it for about 4-years. Last week I ran across the photo posted yesterday... of a great-great uncle and his family. I just love finding these old photos...

Happy Thursday from Down Here in French Lique!
ps... Doc says I can lose the walker and the TED hose next Wednesday! FREEDOM!!!

I really need to get back to working on my family tree.

Been busy lately, so I haven't had much time for blogging. Sorry to read about your surgery, but it looks like you are mending well.

That is one of those projects that needs lots of time...enjoy.
Making final pack and plans for PC. We aren't leaving until Fri morning. Will miss the whole meet and greet thing but next year...I'll know what a cool thang this is and get on board early. Will surely be thinking bout you and Lili each step of the way.
Good news on the FREEDOM!!!
Blessings.....

Glad you are doing OK. Had a hip replacement a year ago, so I know it sucks to be where you are now. It does get a lot better.

Hey Dixie!

I just got back from our vacation to Canaan Valley, West Virginia in the mountains. Had a wonderful time. I'm glad to hear that you are doing better! I've been working on my family tree for around 19 years now. I've not had the time to do it this year but I hope to get back into it in September when both kids are in school.

Good luck in your research!
Hugs,
Angela

ps came home to find deer in our fenced in garden! Didn't look yet to see the damage.....

Golly, ladybug, I do hope you continue to heal quickly.

It is such fun working on genealogy, isn't it! I am working on our family tree also at ancestry.com ... we are finishing it up to put on a disc for everyone.

Have a lovely & safe 4th.

You didn't mention how the knee is coming, Dixie. I just want you to know that even though I'm not blogging daily, I'm STILL praying for YOU!

Hey Dixie - Are you better? How's the infection? We really missed you at Paper Cowgirl. I thought of you while in HEB yesterday - in the floral dept they have Peonies!!! I bought three tightly closed ones and this morning they are sooo beautiful. I've never ever seen them in HEB before. Wish I could bring you some! xoxo Nancy
