Show and Tell Friday... Ravishing Ruffles...

This evening when I got home from work... my sweet mailman had delivered my Country Living Magazine... March 2010...

this is what they were talking about... Ravishing Ruffles... according to Country Living, Ruffles are all the rage this spring... but what really caught my eye was....

these pretty ruffled plates... and why... other than they're lovely...enchanting...divine... No... none of those reasons... though they are all good reasons to be sure...

Earlier in the day I'd been on a business trip to San Marcos, Texas... San Marcos, where one of my favorite thrift stores resides... Candy and Terry introduced me to Twice Blessed last year... and today while searching for that perfect thrifty find, I came across this... Ravishing Ruffles... (ahead of the trends, for once anyway! LOL)

Actually... two bowls...

Lovely...

6 Dessert Plates... and 8 Dinner Plates...

Enchanting...

and a Platter... Divine...

Ravishing Ruffles... It's all the rage this Spring... down here in French Lique...

I'm joining Cindy for Show and Tell Friday at My Romantic Home... why not drop by and see who's playing along today!

Oh Dixie sweetie...
These are just beautiful, and boy did you get a GREAT find. I just love it. Thank you for sharing.

I love the little petite flowers on the edges and the way the blue outlines the center. So very pretty.

And by the way, when I see my mailman, I am going to tell him he is no long sweet, because Ms Dixie down in Texas received her Country Living yesterday, and I did NOT. Gosh I hate it when you gals do things BIG down there in Texas. What have you been bribing your mailman with Dixie? Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

Have a beautiful Friday sweetie. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

What a find! I love those ruffled edges, and the pattern is so delicate and sweet. Candy is a true blue friend - most people would keep that store as their own little secret! Have a great weekend. Kathy

I felt the same way when I came to the ruffles article. I have always loved ruffles, the more the better. I have a beautiful white ruffled shower curtain, a ruffled bed skirt and way too many articles of clothing with ruffles!

Well aren't you lucky! I saw that article in the magazine and loved the dishes too. I've decided I'm going to have to leave my town and go thrifting. I'm just not finding anything in our 2 little shops.
