Funny...I have pieces that I MUST polish and others that I keep tarnished...
I wonder why we feel the way we do?
Either way, tarnished or gleaming...your set is divine!

This is such a fabulous find. I love it. So pretty. You did shine it up beautifully and the set is really stunning. I love it. Hugs, Marty
That's a beautiful service! Even thought I don't mind tarnished pieces, I like the service polished better. Maybe that's because of the elegant shape of the pieces.
Have a lovely Silver Sunday!
Hugs,
Julia
It is gorgeous...it looks like a complete different set..I love it shiny too!
Ah, a new lease on life! Beautiful!
Have a fabUlous day!
((Hugs))

Now I do agree with you on this...that set looks wonderful polished! I normally like unpolished "dirty" silver, but a set like this needs to shine, and it does ever so! Happy SS

Hi Dixie!
I'm with you.....OUT with the tarnish....Your set is just lovely...

Spencer
Oh Dixie...I love your header...my daughter has been dancing for 19 years...seen alot of ballet slippers....
I am a shiney silver girl myself! It sure looks like it came together wonderfully! Thanks for visiting!! Happy SS!
Beautiful!!! I like it shiny with a little dark tarnish in the corners and hidey spots.....kind of like me... :)
Happy Silver Sunday and so nice to meet you.
I with Lynn, I like it a little tarnished on the edges, but polished overall.
Your looks fabulous.
Sissie
Doesn't everything look grand all polished up. Come on over to my house next, huh? xo Joan
She cleaned up right well! Love how it looks all shiny! Now they are all smiling, I can see it!
That turned out beautifully! My mom was a great one for taking home the neglected items that nobody else wanted. She ended up with some lovely treasures for her home. I learned to always take a second look...
Blessings!

Fabulous coffee service, so pretty all shined up!
Psst...I am a member of the polished train too...don't tell anybody...I got a rep to protect. I love the way it looks almost white when it's polished up perfect.

I like my silver polished, too! Maas is now my polish of choice. What a beautiful set once it is polished! And there is nothing like a silver tea set!
Good bones in deed. Did you put Lili to work on those? And her pillows, do we get a sneak peek before you put them in the booth? And to your earlier question...YES~I loved the bodacious blooms on the seat covers...FAB!!!
Terry and I are meeting at our booth for the monthly money exchange ;-/
What happened to our sunshine??? Is there any down there in French Lique?
I love tarnished AND shiny!
Yours does really have great bones, so it would look lovely either way!
XO,
Anne
I actually like it all shiny too...you have some beautiful pieces.
Sue
It turned out beautiful. I love it.
Rebecca
I love blogland and dreaming of beautiful things...
Terry and I off on a new adventure with our mall face lift.
Collecting things for a gazebo and dreaming of days of sunshine to work outside...
Just came in from walking in the mist...no gorillas here in Wim...checking on a burn pile that is still smoldering from the day's work.
I love being outside!!!
Wow!! What a find! Yes - shiney for sure, gotta have that silver shined!
My oldest pieces I keep tarnished, I love the soft glow. Newer pieces I shine. But it all works, it is all good. Yours are all beautiful.
Love the before and after...pretty, pretty, pretty!
Love this chest! What is shipping cost to zip code 33027 (Ft. Lauderdale, FL)?
Looking good, Dixie! You know how much I love shiny objects!
XO,
Sheila :-)
