Geronimo! Part 2...

Christmas time came to Geronimo today... well, at least in my booth. Everyone else that was going to decorate for the holidays finished on Friday... me... I was working at my real job... so today was my day for decorating... My little table was filled to the brim with tabletop Christmas trees... all shapes, colors and sizes... See the two trees "under cloche"? I decided to join Marty's Cloche Party to show them off!
One little tree sported a composite baby doll head for a topper... I think she looks pretty good! This ones for you Candy!
After cleaning the panes, I hung mercury glass ornaments in the window to reflect the morning sunlight...

New aprons from my talented sister... Lili Angelique... and a vintage looking "Magnolia Pearl" styled dress snuggled in the corner...

A BIG stack of back issues... I promised Ricky I'd purge some of my stash!

Doesn't my Magnolia painting look wonderful sitting atop a beautiful easel... Wish I had room in the ranch house to hang on to this one!

Frames antiqued just right for a shabby wall of artless art...

Ricky came back just in time to hang the fairy lights to say "Welcome Christmas"...from down here in French Lique... and Blue Hills Antique Mall in Geronimo, Texas.

  1. It all looks so special and festive. Kinda like a fairyland with the pinks and lights. I love it and think you did an amazing job. I gotta tell you...those crack head babies just freak me out. Laurie at the 2Chippys would love yours used a tree topper!

  2. Hi Dixie! I love your Christmas display! I'm looking at the hat hanging with your aprons. It looks like one that was my grandmother's! Love all of the frames! The doll head on the tree reminds me of "Toy Story!" lol Happy week...hugs...Debbie

  3. Oh Dixie, yesterday I posted on facebook my agony for Tex- Mex food from Alamo Cafe or Los Barrios (I forgot about El Tipico).
Now your post is making my miss the fabulous junk / antique stores in Texas. I love your booth. I would have busted my budget if I had seen in person your Christmas items (and that great magnolia painting) rather than cyber looking.

  7. Hi Dixie,
I tried yesterday to leave a comment and couldn't get the comment window to download. Does anyone else have these oddities happen to them?
Your booth looks sweet. Those aprons look like Ralph Laurens spring show, I kid you not.
    Have a great day!

  12. Greetings sweetie...
Oh my gosh girl, I am lovin all the decorating you have done. I love the apothecary jars filled with the red, pink and white colors around. So absolutely breath taking. Love it. I really love that tall looking cloche with the pink tree under it.

I also love the way you all hung Christmas balls from ribbons at the windows. I think you have given me an idea of what to do with this darn wall of mirrors behind my kitchen table. I could hang ribbons with bells and Christmas balls hanging down. Red and white I think. Oh thank you darlin, I am so happy I am whistling Dixie....

The doll head on that tree is so beautiful. I love it. Creative, very creative.

Thanks for sharing all of your ideas at our wonderful cloche party. I always have such a fun time when I come here to visit. Please stop by and let me share my cloche ideas with you.

    Country hugs and love sweetie...Sherry

  16. Sorry to disappoint ya. But actually haven't done any Christmas decorating. Worked all day on wintering my plants so they don't have to be in the house. And burned two piles of cedar. Got a show in New Braunfels tomorrow morning and another one on Friday.
Stay safe on these wet roads.
