Cool Nights... Candle Light...

I love when the time changes and we get that hour back that we lose in the spring... getting the hour back also means... getting cooler weather... leaves falling.... nightfall coming a little earlier each evening... Welcome Autumn... cool nights... candle light...
Down here in French Lique...

  1. Oh sweetie,
I can see the Fall leaves drifting to the ground as I listen to the music, and I can hear the north wind blowing as it whirls my jacket on a cool evening. I can smell the fireplace as I wonder past a beautiful home all aglow knowing there is someone home tonight. Oh how beautiful sweetie. Thank you for sharing with me this beautiful evening.

Have a blessed Tuesday sweetie. Country hugs, Sherry

  5. Fall is my favorite time. All the windows open, fall candle burnings and I can't seem to stay awake past 8 pm.
    Have a blessed day!

  8. Dixie,
I saw your candle light on my blog list... it drew me in like a moth. :)
Thank you for your sweet comment and bearing with my tale... I don't think I have met Candy so I am off to do that.

Many more cool nights to you in

  9. I hadn't been around in awhile and thought I'd drop in and pay you a visit. Love autumn, cool nights and candlelight too. We don't gain or lose an hour though because Arizona doesn't change as all the other states do. I'm glad.
Enjoyed your boot post. I had a pair of cowgirl boots - when I was 17. That was quite a while ago. LOL

  11. This has to be my favorite season change. Here in So. Cal..we still get the warm days....maybe the mid seventies, but the evenings are cool and I can smell fall in the air!! Hugs!

  13. Love this post Dixie. The time change takes some getting adjusted to, I feel like it's time to go to bed at 7:00! But I do love the weather right now, just about perfect. We went to the coast this past weekend and it was GLORIOUS! Definitely the time of year to go, although with the winter Texans the speed limit seems to have changed to 20mph lol. Have a wonderful week. Kathy

  15. Hi from a fellow Texan! Just found your blog this evening and the candle is beautiful. Love candles & have them burning all the time. I need some boots myself! Can you believe I don't have any at the moment? Worn out and haven't replaced them...maybe Santa will. :-)

  17. LOL! Your post made me realize that I had not lit my Clean Cotton Yankee Candle for the day. I do love scented candles and have not switched them out for the reed diffusers. Candles provide not just the scent, but the ambiance of the candle light. Love your pic:-)
