I did remember that it was going to be 9-9-09 today but I forgot to mention it to my daughter this morning on the way to school. I kept thinking there is something I wanted to tell her but I just couldn't remember what it was until after I dropped her off at school! lol

This is too funny, Dixie...only because this morning, I actually took out my journal and wrote in it...you know the pen and paper kind - it's been awhile, anyway, when I wrote the date down, I thought WOW it's 9/9/9 :)
Neat post. Hope all is well for you and your antiquing.
I always worry that some nut will be inspired to do something ugly on dates like this. Luckily, I may be the only nut to have that thought cross my mind! Ha! Love the vibrant colors!
I noticed it today when I had to write the date--Love the way you put it up in neon colors. Have been looking at your reading list. I am deep into The Devil's Punch Bowl right now, but want to get Cormac McCarthy's The Road next! Happy 9/9/09!
Didn't even think about this until I heard on the news last night about the high-jacking. Some nut seeing these numbers upside down... We are getting rain (last two days) how about you? I remember you saying you had some busy days, hope you are being safe on the roads. Terry and I need to make a run to G soon. Or maybe we could plan a Wimberley Trade Days now that the weather is cooler. Invite the Texas Gals. How does that strike ya?
