Hi Dixie! Wow! Such great pics! Those stacks of cans really make you think! I think all of those Diet Coke cans were mine!!! Hope you are having a great week!...hugs...Debbie
ReplyDeleteOMG---all of those cans are just frightening!! Unfortunately, I think the Diet Pepsi ones are MINE!! Debbie and are the the culprits! :) I DO recycle them, so I hope that helps a bit!

I cannot tell a lie. Those diet coke cans are MINE! mwhaaa
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cool last shot.
Hope your Wednesday is good, Dixie☺ Thanks for being such a good hostess!
The cans are just mind boggling. We generate too much trash at our house and need to work on that! Thanks for a reality reminder. xoxo Nancy
ReplyDeleteHi Ms. Dixie,
ReplyDeleteI can't believe all those cans! I hate collecting cans, they make such a mess.....ooops, I guess I can't say that on Earth Day!

The pictures of all those cans is just mind boggling. One of my co-workers has contributed all of the Dr. Pepper cans! We do recycle, but I'm staring to think we should go back to the glass bottles that you return. Kathy
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a lot of cans. I wish they have a recycle pick up here cause we sure drink a lot of cokes...Christine
ReplyDeleteSeeing all those cans makes me glad we drink Ice Tea .

Thanks for the opportunity to show my picture. The Sierras were the most beautiful mountains I have ever seen, and I grew up in New Mexico!

Hi Dixie, Great photos, Happy Earth Day. I think we are pretty good at recycling here, but our son is the expert and when he visits he tells us how we can be even better at it :-), Kathy.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Dixie!
ReplyDeleteHave to tell you that I LOVE your new blog banner--I just want to meander down that dirt road and be in the country:)
Happy WW!
Linda C
That is a lot of cans!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures. :)
Cool photos!
ReplyDeleteThe second one reminds me of my kiddos, dragging a long line of milk jugs down the street to the recycle center:)
Have a GREAT Earth Day.
Hey dixie! Happy Earth Day!
ReplyDeleteGreat shots but the cans and jugs really make a person think just how much "we" consume. I was raised "green" and never thought twice about recycling. Now we recycle anything we can and re-use, re-purpose and reinvent as much as we can.
Mother Earth is beautiful and I hope many will make the commitment to treat her like the lady she is.
definitely timely photos!
ReplyDeleteI worked at a recycle company for a bit, so those bales of cans look too familiar...
What were we thinking when we allowed them to do away with returnable bottles? Coke doesn't even taste the same in cans or plastic. Great pix. Debbie
ReplyDeleteHi Dixie, My Tx Lady! ;) You're Wordless Wednesday Earth Day pics are FAB! They really make one ponder on how important recycling is! WOW! ~CC Catherine
ReplyDeleteLeft you a little surprise on my blog-
ReplyDeletelaura
Thank you for the email. I like your pictures and one thing I am thankful is when they started to recycle. My wonderful granddaughter started us recycling, about 16 years ago, she came home from school one day and came up to me and said "grandma you need to start recycling" and we did. I hope you had a nice Earth Day.
ReplyDeleteDixie, No words needed! Those soda cans are amazing and scary! laurie
ReplyDeleteGreat post....I have that many cans in my garage waiting for the neighbor kids to come and get them. I never get around to turning them in...so we donate them to the local school. I probably should just stop drinking so dang much soda lol
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking I should go buy a water filter instead of using bottled water. That's a lot of trash!
ReplyDeletegreat post!! i'm sorry i missed this week - been gone on Easter Break. i'm here now, getting the info for this coming week's ww.
