  12. Well...resting by the bank of the river fishing and a glass of wine...sounds like a winning combo (as long as no power boats are involved!) LOL

  23. Thanks for WW - I am surprised how many of the posts have such long descriptions - kind of takes the fun out of it - but I love the ones that just post and have nothing to say.
    Thanks again.

  24. I wish your WW posters would stop with all the words and follow your rules!

I love Norman Rockwell and Pachelbel's Cannon.

  25. Sally and Peaceful... I agree... it kinda defeats the purpose when you explain.. the purpose is to post a photo that you don't have to explain!?

Kinda reminds me of that test in highschool where the teacher says be sure to read all the instructions first... the students dive right in to answering the questions and hand in their papers only to find out that the instructions said "write your name at the top of the page, don't answer any questions, just turn in the paper with your name and you'll get an "A"...

some folks just have trouble reading instructions...

Next week... I'm going to eliminate the instructions and see what happens...

sending out some love on WW.

  26. Hi Dixie...

What a beautiful still life photo, my friend! It just makes me wanna be there and take a big ol' sip of some of that bubbly! I love all of old Saturday Evening Post magazine covers of Norman Rockwell...a classic!!!

Thank you so much for hosting "Wordless Wednesday", Dixie! This is my third time to participate...so much fun!!! I'll be sure to visit the other participants. Girl, I just have to say how much I enjoy seeing all of those Texas bluebonnets in your header photo. I just moved to Colorado about 8 yrs. ago...up from Corpus Christi...seeing all of the pretty bluebonnets sure makes me homesick for Texas! I think Spring time was my favorite down there...seeing all of the fields and roadsides just lined with all the wild flowers...soooo very beautiful!!! Thank you for a trip down memory lane, my friend!

    Happy Wordless Wednesday...
