What beautiful doors. I have a thing for old doors and windows, and these are beautiful. I especially love the weathered one surrounded by the greenery and flowers (are those Lady Banks?) - what a beautiful picture! Kathy
Oh Dixie...I LOVE this post!! My virtual home in the south of France has blue doors and shutters!!! lol I have a whole book of photos of doors. Have a great week...Debbie
Dixie, I'm glad I brought a smile to your face...we have always called our friend that,he was raised on a Sugar Plantation in Donaldsonville, LA. but went to work for Shell when he got out of school, we met the family when they transfered to Brookhaven 30 yrs ago, his son is the little coon-ass. Just hurt me bad when they got transfered 6 yrs ago. Look forward to seeing them everytime they pass this way.
Thanks again, Dixie! I just added a little edit at the end of the mantel post, to explain the region. I always think of the Ozarks stretching all the way across the southern part of MO and into Arkansas. I'm a proud hillbilly, bet you would not have ever guessed!;-)
