Following All Saints Day (which is today), is All Souls' Day. All Souls' Day is also known as the Feast of All Souls, Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed. Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos or de los Difuntos) is used in Spanish-speaking countries, and here in South Texas where we have a large Hispanic population and culture.
Catholics, and some other Christian denominations, traditionally have some activity revolving around placing flowers on the graves of loved ones, at the Church or local cemetery, on this day. The Spanish culture is a bit more festive... Just thought you'd like to know what's going on down here in French Lique...
